Hi friends, I am writing tonight to send one of my favorite poems to you: Lucille Clifton’s amazing poem, “my dream about time,” which you can find here. There is so much to say about the poem, but one thing I especially love about it is the odd feeling it gives me (or maybe all poems give odd feelings?). I love the way it depicts a dream and time.
Thank you for loving Cancers and for choosing such a lovely poem. Lucille’s dream poems as a whole are gorgeous, and I’ve been thinking about time a lot this week, too, especially after Daylight Savings Time (which always rattles my sense of time and enhances my feeling of being slightly out of body) and throughout this time-altering pandemic. 🌹
Thank you, Dorothea! Astrology was initially interesting to me because it was a way of categorizing people and understanding them. In the beginning, though, it was kind of an easy way of writing people off into "good" and "bad" in terms of how I would jive with them. Through time I've realized one of the beauties of astrology is that you can find things to love about every single person, even if they are so different from you. A way to recognize all of the forms we take. You exude such love and celebration for each sign - it's refreshing. Thank you!
